Theatre major at the
University of Michigan.

MATT JOHNSON
(
Louis Leonowens
) is
ecstatic to be making his Muny debut. Matt
is 11 years old, entering
sixth grade at North
Kirkwood Middle School.
Matt loves to perform
and has been in shows
with Missouri Baptist
University and Kirkwood
CommunityTheater. Matt
gives a huge thanks to
The Muny for this opportunity, to Garrett
States for his voice/acting instruction, and
to his family, friends and teachers for always
cheering him on.
HARUKA TAMURA
(
Eliza
) was born in
Tokyo and started training at the age of 5.
While she was training, she was a finalist
at All Japan Union Ballet Competition and
NBA National Ballet Competition. She
attended dance intensives
in Japan and worked
with numerous guest
artists including Eva
Evdokimova andMorihiro
Iwata. After graduating
from high school, she
came to America to
attend the Boston Ballet
School Summer Dance Program in 2009 and
was accepted to the dance program at the
Hartt School, University of Hartford under
the direction of Stephen Pier the following
year. She performed the Martha Graham’s
repertory
Dark Meadow
at The Joyce Theater
in NYC. She is now a sophomore and hopes
to join a professional ballet company in
America after graduating!
ALYSSA WOLF
(
Princess Ying Yaowalak
) is
thrilled to play the role of Princess Ying! A
member of the Muny
Teens Touring Troupe,
this is her sixth season
with The Muny and her
tenth production on the
“magical” Muny stage.
Her favorite previous
part was Gracie Shinn in
2009’s
The Music Man
. A
junior at Marquette High School, she is very
involved in her school theatre program and
is dance captain for their show choir

. Alyssa would like to thank Mike
Isaacson, Denny Reagan and the entire Muny
family for this wonderful opportunity!
