He is an assistant professor of design
at Webster University’s Conservatory of Theatre
Arts. He is thrilled to return to The Muny and
to remember all those years ago sitting in the free
seats thinking, “I want to do that!”
DARREN LEDBETTER
(
Musical Director
)
is pleased to be The Charles W. and Janet T.
Mueller Conductor for
Dreamgirls
. He is thrilled
to be making his Muny debut and currently
serves as the Musical Director for the national
tour of
Rock of Ages
. As musical supervisor/

Jibson, Natalie Weiss, Miranda Sings, and 80s pop
sensation Tiffany, among countless others. Mr.
Ledbetter has worked extensively with the Walt
Disney Company. Love to family and the Tribe.
JASON KRUEGER
(
Sound Designer
) is pleased
to return for his 13th season with The Muny. He
is continually honored to return to The Muny
and St Louis’ enthusiastic support of the arts.
In the past, Jason has worked on a number of
Broadway and national tours, including
The Lion
King

The Hunchback of Notre Dame

The King
and I

Indiscretions
,
Smokey Joe’s Cafe
and the
annual Madison Square Garden production of
A Christmas Carol
. A native of Colorado, Jason
spends the rest of the year teaching skiing in
Steamboat Springs.
PETER HYNDS
(
Production Stage Manager
) This
summer marks Peter’s 14th season at The Muny.
He has worked in musical theatre, opera, television
and film. He has been a stage manager for the
Pittsburgh Opera, Florida Grand Opera, Dallas
Opera, Houston Grand Opera, San Francisco
Opera, Kansas City Starlight, The Muny and
the Variety Children’s Theatre. Peter would like
to congratulate his Dreamgirl (his amazing wife
Catriona) for completing her first year as Director
of Theatre at Deerfield Academy in Massachusetts!

and defiant Dreamettes - Ella and MacGregor!
LESIA KAYE

Choreographer
) is an accomplished

Ms. Kaye was nominated in Los Angeles as Best
Choreographer for
Ragtime
and for her work with
Dreamgirls
. Lesia has enjoyed critical acclaim
choreographing numerous productions including
Chicago
,
A Chorus Line
,
Guys and Dolls
and
Dames
at Sea.
Along with Mr. Clater, she is the co-owner
of Clater Kaye Theatreworks, a performing arts
academy near Charlotte, and an asoociate producer
of the Los Angeles Civic Light Opera.
ROBERT CLATER
(
Director
) is a celebrated
Dreamgirls
director. Mr. Clater holds the
distinction of being the only actor in history to
have played all five of the principal male roles.
Dreamgirls
creator Michael Bennett selected Robert
for the original cast of the
Dreamgirls
international
company, which received a Tony® nomination
for Best Revival in 1987. He has spent many
