For the past 35 years, Joe has been a member
of the stage management staff at The Muny.
During that time, he has worked on more than
130 productions. Joe taught theatre at St. Louis
University High School for 50+ years. This past
year, Joe was the first person to receive the Kevin
Kline Lifetime Achievement Award.

) has

Keith, and Barry Manilow. He is currently co-
designing a new tour for Alice Cooper
with his
co-designer for
Millie,
Nathan W. Scheuer. He
has twice been awarded the Parnelli Award for
Set Designer of the Year in 2007 and 2008, and
received the Illuminating Engineering Society’s
Award of Distinction in 1996. He was awarded
the Redden Award for Excellence in Lighting
Design with the creative team for
Star Wars in
Concert
, and traveled with the show as associate
creative director and lighting director. He was
