Synopsis:   

Anuita, known as The Flame, incites the people against the Czarist regime through singing. Flash forward: Anuita is now disguised as a peasant girl and living with her cousin until her country shall need her again. She meets and falls in love with Volodya. A series of romantic misunderstandings and revolutionary complications find the lovers happily united.
